Beginning November 1, British Columbia will remain on Pacific Time (PCT) year-round and will no longer move clocks back one hour. While your CARSA classes, programs, or bookings remain unchanged, some calendar applications may not automatically adjust to the new time zone. As a result, events scheduled on or after November 1 may temporarily appear at the wrong time in your personal calendar.To avoid missing a class or booking, please double-check your calendar for events scheduled on or after November 1.The actual time of your recurring classes and activities has not changed. Only calendar displays may be affected until your device or application is updated.

Vikes Recreation Sport Clubs meet the recreational and competitive needs of the University of Victoria student community by offering a variety of organized sport and recreation activities. Supported by UVic’s Department of Athletics and Recreation (ATRS) there are currently 35 sport and recreational clubs to choose from.
Sport clubs are organized by students for students, motivated by a common interest. Different sport clubs have different priorities, such as league or tournament play, socialization, instruction, and skill development. Clubs are responsible for their own internal organization and conduct, while following policies and procedures established by ATRS.

Getting involved with the sport clubs is simple. Contact the clubs you are interested in for their meeting times, locations, and competition level details. Register as a member of the club(s) online or in person at CARSA Membership Services. Current UVic students, as well as community members, may be eligible to join a club based on the club requirements.
